Ethanol extraction is different in the sense that it extracts more of the naturally-derived terpenes in the flower than your conventional methods giving it wonderful smooth flavor and unique color.

Cold Creek Extracts

We are excited to introduce you to Cold Creek Extracts whose product we will now be carrying going forward. We visited their facility in Anchorage last week and we are very much looking forward to what they have coming down the pipe in the near future as well as getting to work with them more closely on their home turf when we open Pakalolo Oceanside.  In the meantime we brought back some of their amazing product to share with our awesome patrons in Fairbanks!

Mahalo Pull-N-Snap Shatter

Mahalo Pull-N-Snap Shatter was extracted from our very own Pakalolo Grown Caramel Kona Coffee Kush and Maui Pineapple Chunk!  Cold Creek made this shatter using a method called ethanol extraction.  This method has been gaining popularity on butane and CO2 as a solvent of choice for producers manufacturing high-quality cannabis extracts.  It is said to be both a very safe and efficient method of extraction. Full Spectrum CannaCaps

Cold Creek also hooked us up with a edible version of their extract in gel capsule form called CannaCaps!  Each $35 bottle of contains 10 CannaCaps at 4.2 mg THC in each.  These are perfect for those who enjoy the edible high but don’t want to have to actually eat something to get there.  They are very easy to dose and all you have to do is wash em down with a glass of water like you were taking an herbal supplement.  Technically I guess it is an herbal supplement!

Pakalolo Supply Company’s Letter of Endorsement for Candidates Supporting the Cannabis Industry

ACPAC

ALASKA CANNABIS POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE
3264 RIVERVIEW DRIVE
FAIRBANKS, ALASKA 99709
ENDORSED CANDIDATES FOR
NOVEMBER 6, 2018 GENERAL ELECTION

The following candidates for Congress, Interior State or Local elected offices have expressly stated their support for legal cannabis and the cannabis industry, and/or have worked, or voted, to further the advancement and security of Alaska residents’ right to purchase and consume safe legal cannabis.

US Representative:  We have no set endorsement for this race. While we believe that it is time to replace 85 year old Don Young, and that Alyse Galvin is a good choice to do so, Rep. Young has actively supported changing federal laws that inhibit the cannabis industry nationwide.

Governor:  Mark Begich. Mr. Begich has taken a public position in support of legal cannabis and the industry. Mr. Dunleavy worked closely with Pete Kelly to strongly oppose legal cannabis and the creation of the legal industry in clear opposition to the will of their electorates.

State Senator – District A:  Scott Kawasaki. Mr. Kawasaki has taken a public position in support of legal cannabis and the industry. Pete Kelly is public enemy #1 regarding cannabis, and most other issues that affect working individuals in Alaska. Mr. Kelly has lived off the public teat most of his adult life while decrying government spending and programs, and cutting the budget for programs that benefit Alaskan families. He is bought and paid for by the oil industry and other resource companies.

State Representative – District 1:  Kathryn Dodge. Ms. Dodge has taken a public position in support of legal cannabis and the industry. In her tenure on the borough assembly she worked to put together favorable ordinances to regulate and advance the industry. Her opponent, Bart LeBon, is a fine man, but he is just another older white conservative Republican that we already have plenty of. He declined to answer the cannabis industry questionnaire sent out to all candidates statewide.

State Representative – District 2:  Van Lawrence. Mr. Lawrence has taken a public position in support of legal cannabis and the industry. He also served on the borough assembly with Kathryn Dodge working together to advance the cannabis industry. His opponent, Steve Thompson, voted against most bills in the legislature that were in support of legal cannabis.

State Representative – District 3:  There is no recommendation for this North Pole area district. The incumbent, Tammie Wilson, is running unopposed, and is not a supporter of legal cannabis and the industry.

State Representative – District 4:  Grier Hopkins. Mr. Hopkins has taken a public position in support of legal cannabis and the industry. He was called upon to help guide last years campaign to defeat the local ballot initiatives to ban all cannabis businesses. Please do not vote for the independent candidate, Tim Lamkin, as it will split the moderate vote and take away from Mr. Hopkins’ chance to win. The Republican candidate, Jim Sackett, is a part of the religious right wing conservative movement, and is in total opposition to legal cannabis and the industry.

State Representative – District 5:  Adam Wool. Mr. Wool has taken a public position in support of legal cannabis and the industry. In his tenure in the legislature, Mr. Wool has been one of the staunchest supporters of legal cannabis. We have no knowledge of his opponent, Kevin McKinley’s, position on cannabis – he did not answer the industry questionnaire.

State Representative – District 6:  Ed Alexander. We do not know much about Mr. Alexander’s positions on cannabis. However, his opponent, David Talerico, as the incumbent has consistently voted against cannabis legislation.
Thank you for your support of legal cannabis in Alaska and the candidates that will help us keep it that way. The most important thing is – PLEASE VOTE! We have won some major battles, but the war is not over. Our opponents are still fighting us on every front, and will continue to try to make cannabis illegal again.
